My vehicle was involved in an accident on 31/12/2013 and I have been trying to finalise this claim since then. First, I was told that I needed to prove that the accident happened on that day as the accident report was not good enough. Thanks to technology, I had dated photos of the vehicle which seemed to be proof enough. Now I'm told that I have to submit documentation of insurance I held in 2006 within 30 days otherwise the claim will be denied. I do not have such documentation. I was told that it is due to the fact that my premium was quoted on the basis that I had had insurance for more than 7 years prior to insuring with budget. If the quoted premium is to be disputed when a claim is made surely these facts should be verfied at the time of premium negotiations and NOT only when a claim is submitted. The consultant, Sindiso (unsure of the spelling), is rude and obnoxious and laughs at me during our conversations. I am highly disgusted with the service I have received from Budget!!!
