How difficult can it be to get a settlement amount

I sold a property bonded by Standardbank and is also surety on my one-account. Attorneys spoke to homeloans and informed me that I must get settlement figures from my banker. Emailed my banker and he referred me to homeloans. Phoned homeloans and my request was logged with a reference number. Nothing happened. Eventually went to see my banker and he spoke to homeloans. I forwarded him the information they requested and still nothing. It is now almost two months and my buyers are threatening to cancel the sale.
