I have been a customer of Clientele Life since 1996 making payments towards a Classic Saver Endowment Plan. I have decided to cancel this policy due to financial reasons and have requested an encashment as per the policy agreement. After the encashment the policy must be cancelled.
I have requested this encashment on 19 September 2013 whereupon Clientele sent me the required documents to complete the transaction. It is now 8 January 2014 and I still have not received my payment. I have submitted all the documents required THREE times to them - each time they come back with a different requirement. On submission of the new request there is no delivery of payment (within the promised 5 days). Upon query from my side new documents are requested. Various email and calls to their contact centre bring no resolution. I am desperate and very, very disillusioned by Clientele. Do their contact centre agents receive commission on withholding encashment payments for as long as possible?! I find this service & treatment shocking after nearly 20 years' payment for their policy. There is NO OTHER way to connect with them other than the national email address or call centre nr. HELP!
