FUND NOT REACHING RECIPIENT

Dear All,

My name is Haile Mengistu, a customer to the FIRST NATIONAL BANK in South Africa. I did an online SWIFT transfer on 23 November of 3500 US Dollars to a beneficiary in Ethiopia. The fund was deducted from one of my account 3 days after. The online SWIFT transfer provides the details of UNITED BANK in Ethiopia with specific branch address in the list, which I correctly chose. However, to my dismay the fund never reaches the destination and my repeated request to credit the fund did not get any action. I mean how on earth after almost 40 days the fund can not be traced properly and timely. The person responsible, Ms Sandra on two occasions sent me copies of hard-to-understand faxes but no solution. FNB did not even tell me whether or not they will refund me the money. I am in the dark and I am very disappointed about the FNB FOREX service.
