My Friend worked for ABSA as a client service consultant for more than 5 years. This year she was suspended for in March 2013. But there was no feedback then she decided to resign and look for another job. She has never been called for a hearing or something to discuss this as a result ABSA couldn't't find evidence of all these cases that she was accused of.
She want's her provident fund money but she was told by her manager at ABSA that she will not get it until they find something linking her to all the cases. She is struggling trying to maintain her family and she is studying. It is December now and she has nothing at all not even R1. Please advise on what legal actions we could take against ABSA something that will not require money to initiate.
This is now a personal fight between her manager and her because the case was closed by ABSA (we don't have record of that) but her manager went to open up a case a against her saying that she must pay ABSA for all the money she took which she can't prove how she took it.
Please help my friend, she is so sick now from frustration. I just want to lay a process to her so that she knows there are other ways.
