On 6 Nov 2012 at 19h45 I made an ETF of R16000 to an incorrect account. I became aware of my error on the morning of the 7th. I contacted Fnb online and spoke to Sibongile and requested reversal. She confirmed the payment and said that no funds had been withdrawn from the incorrect account. Payment reversal request forms asked twice- Sibongile and Mbambo. Form completed and sent to FNB 13h00 on the 7th confirmation received ref 1-673739681.Nothing was done so on 14th I went to Melmoth branch to be informed that FNB could not contact the account holder to reverse and that the funds were now withdrawn. They gave me the account holders name Tshepho Matjie cell no 0825019272 and 0818192653 and told me to contact him/her myself. C Small at FNB legal acknowledged receipt of complaint ref no 228927 and 229164.On 21 Nov Ahmed Jones from FNB Recall phoned regarding reversal request email address [Email Removed] The reports differ they contradict each other. On 28th the ombudsman was contacted . 29th I received instruction from Queen Tladi email add; [Email Removed] of Ombudsman to contact dispute resolution dept . 30th I lodged my complaint with resolutiondept. 3 Dec Desiree Bowes
