I went to FNB Westgate on Saturday 09/11/13 to find out if I qualify for a loan the guy that assisted me said yes I qualify for R35 000 which I can get immediately but because I already have an existing loan with FNB they will take some of that R35 000 to pay off the existing loan and I will get the remaining money which would have left me with R26 000. I filled in all the papers signed everything and he said by monday I will get the money he just needs to complete the forms to settle my existing loan. Last night 11/11/13 a lady from FNB loans phoned me saying I only qualify for R11 000 and the existing loan would still be there meanng I will have to pay off tow loans, I just don't understand how one person can tell you you are approved for R35 000 and give you the option of paying your existing loan off with that money and then the next person says no you can only get R11 000 and your existing loan will remain, they way they give people false hope is just unacceptable, why not rather just tell the truth from day one
