We have alerted Momentum Short-Term Insurance on Thursday night about our house break-in and our kitchen door was broken and took our valuables and we were told they can only assist us the next morning. The next morning (Friday the 8th Nov 2013) a consultant asked the items that were taken and the prices and we were told they are going to come back to us. On Thursday we received a call from a consultant called Nonhlanhla who told us we are only covered for Hail damage and not for, Momentum can only issue R2000 to us. We have not applied to cover for Hail, we even have Nedbank Home insurance for that which covers the building, gyser etc. This is not acceptable and we have contacted our lawyers regarding this, I'm very disappointed at Momentum i even have policies with Momentum I thought it was a great company that can be trusted obviously i was wrong.
