I made a mango flight booking on 28/10/13 and tried paying with my cheque chip card. i got a message to say it declined due to my limit being exceeded. i then received an automated call by which i had to confirm my transaction due to 'suspected ' on my account. i followed the prompts and assumed it was through. i waited a day to see when it wil go through. nothing. i phoned the customer care number on the back of my card and explained to the agent that nothing has gon through and i need to know when as i need to make my booking, he said nothing was pending on my account. i then make a new booking that i was planning to pay at the shoprite kiosk in cash. i phoned again the following day just to make sure that the amount of R4659 was not pending on my card and the agent assured me nothing was pending. i paid my ticket in cash and woke up the next morning with additional amount of R4659 debited from my account which left me with R200 in my acc. i am a single working mom of 2 with no support and now am still waiting on a refund due the information i received from fnb that was incorrect. i am absolutely livid and highly stressed out with no money in my account and waiting!!!
