Hi, I have a complaint about my money not being safe in an ABSA account. I have a Debit Journal for R3900 on my account. I did not recieve an sms about a debit order going through. This happened after I withdrew some money from an ATM. I really do not appreciate my money being grabbed from me. I am sure there is a law against the bank freely nilly taking my money. I do not have any authorised debit orders/arrangements on my account. I will also be seeking advice from the Banking Ombudsman. I am so shocked and I am wondering where am I going to store my money if the banks themselves are taking it or allowing unauthorised debit orders. I need a speedy resolution to this major problem.
