This morning I was debited with R129.99 from Naedo tracked do wermarket, when i contacted Absa they told me to call Stracol, which i did, i was then informed they do not control the debit orders only facilitate it as per clients request and gave me Wer marketing contact centre, I called wer marketing and was informed this was a mistake and will be refunded in 2 to 3 working days.
My question is how does Absa allow an illegal debit order to go off my account without a mandate or approval from me the "account holder"
I will be closing my accounts and advising everyone I know who banks wtih Absa to do the same.
