I applied for a home loan from FNB to pay for my studies and and medical procedure that I need and waited for months to get my quotation, Riana Le Roux (consultant) refused to return my calls, meanwhile my health and studies suffered.

After I accepted the quote but found that personal information was being sent to my work email address. I asked the bank to make sure that it never happen again but it did two more times, with very private information.

I decided that since the bank had still not advanced the money and had not set up my account as promised, I would contact the branch manager Yodesh Singh to cancel. He acknowledged by mail but did no more. In the mean time the loan amount was deposited into my account.

I asked where to return the money but was ignored, after about six months, the bank asked why I had not paid any instalments and I explained. The money was returned immediately (less the bank charges and costs). There are huge charges that the bank expect me to pay. I did not get any benefit from the loan. I have used six different channels to complain but despite promises nothing is resolved. And money is not available to me even though I am expected to pay costs.
