My daughter insured her vehicle through Virgin Money. We went to collect the vehicle only to find out when we wanted to take the vehicle that they had cancelled the policy. We had a policy number and a confirmation letter. Bernard Mather said it was because they had the incorrect information as to the model of vehicle. Their sales lady and the call centre called my daughter 10 times during the day before we collected the vehicle to confirm the vehicle details. The dealership sent a copy of the invoice to Virgin Money to confirm the vehicle details!!! How could they have got it wrong. To add insult to injury they are taking off a debit order off my daughters banking account on the 26th for the first months premium, we now have to go to the bank to return this debit order at our cost according to Bernard Mather.
We got another insurance company to insure my daughter car at the dealership within minutes and we have had excellent service and communications with them and absolutely no confusion as to the car details.
