I was phoned from number 0118932125 by guy presenting himself as Gerhard from Sanlam. He said that I have a policy maturing and enquired if I had decided what to do and if I need any advice. I informed him that yes I have a PPs policy maturing on 1 August and have already made arrangements with admin to have the proceed transferred to Old Mutual. I enquired where he got his information from as Sanlam should know what the situation was and I also asked if there was no communication within Sanlam. He proceeded to abruptly tell me that he can only help me if share information with him. I told him he is probably a marketing guy and should do proper homework before he phones a prospective client. He then proceeded to hang the phone up in my ear.
This is very bad business ethics and I am very disappointed in the way I was treated
