I applied for Wesbank Finance in May & was approved. Insurance allready organised for vehicle. At the very last moment Wesbank calls me to inform that now a deposit is required (Zero deposit required when approved) AND the retail of the vehicle has dropped R30 000. Insisting on a reason as to why they changed the terms etc, I am told I have given the incorrect information to the original consultant - Belinda Meyer. I have a e-mail sent to her containing the CORRECT information. She is now on maternity leave, and is unreachable. Wesbank CLEARLY made the mistake, as I have the e-mail to proof what was discussed and agreed upon. But everyone is just passing the buck and unwilling to accept that WESBANK made the mistake. I have been on the phone the entire day trying to sort it out. I am furious that a WESBANK employee made a mistake and now I have to produce a deposit amount immediately AND have a vehicle with a reduced retail value. Because the consultant loaded the incorrect code? Please can somebody help me.
