Here comes a long story! Yesterday, I wanted to take out a contract for a phone (not through FNB, because I've been down that road, and it literally took forever). While at Canal Walk, I realised that I needed a 3 month bank statement - so I thought I would just go to PostNet and print my emailed statements.

Little did I know that FNB is completely useless! I spent 36minutes at PostNet trawling your online banking site looking for the eZiStatements tab - to no avail. R26 or so later (PostNet bill), I gave up. So my friends and I decided to phone your call centre. Being a Sunday, I had difficulty with this. In the end, we spoke to the and card cancellation people who told us that the system was down. I completely understand that the system was down, but why on earth was there NO sort of notification on the website. I unnecessarily spent R26 looking for something that I was never going to find!

My second gripe goes as follows. The call centre agent said that I would be able go to an FNB ATM and request a statement there. I drove around Cape Town (Canal Walk and Southern Suburbs) looking for an ATM that would allow me to do this. EVERY other bank has a terminal that can!!!
