Today I visited Capitec N1 city, was welcomed by one of the staff members as I entered who asked me how she can be of assistance and pointed me in the right direction.
Waited less than 5 minutes to see a consultant (which was great compared to other banks) Reason for my visit was to dispute a debit order, now I have seen many complaints from Capitec customers about this sort of transaction, and prepared myself for the worst but to my surprise Leon (I think) who assisted me was friendly and after I explained the issue to him and gave him my supporting docs he reversed the debit order and the funds was returned to my account before I left the bank.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Leon for he's professionalism and efficient assistance in resolving my issue. The staff at N1 city branch is tops. And this has just confirmed my suspicion, Capitec is a world class bank, with competent staff, that provides a world class service.
