Client does not come first!!

My cellphone was sent in for repairs t MTN which they then got back to me and said it was liquid damage i then told the to send me the quotation as i have insurance which i took out in store at MTN Zevenwag Mall the date i took out the contract.
MTN then thought i agreed for them to fix my handset which cost was R1900 and i was told to pay that price otherwise i wont be received the handset which to my knowledge is stupid that they would fix because i had told them i have insurance and i can claim.
it's been a month and a half now and to date nothing.
i then called the insurance to ask if they could assist me i had sent them through the docs and i dealt with a Shamel Meyer she then told me that i should pay in a R150.00 on the 07/06/2013 which i gladly did becuase i was told that the insurance would pay the difference to MTN to release the new handset for me.
On Monday the 10/06/2013 i was told that the accounts department declined to pay the difference because its more than half of what should be paid i was so irrate i could not believe that a company so big would decline such a small amount. Its Friday 14/06/2013 and no feedback to date... this is dam bad service.
