I have notice stranger debit orders (R279.00) from my bank account with the title " Real People" every month, but could not tell what was it about. until sunday the 9th June 2013, i decided to switch on my 8ta sim card that i activated in February, and got an sms saying i have a failed debit order with Ref: 12896012.
I called the number supplied on the sms (0800 212 020) and i was adviced that i have a contract with 2 cell phones, samsung and a nokia. which i don't even have or received. now they told me to go to the police station to raise the matter and fax them the details. why should i do that! if all they can do is check were the phones were delivered and signed, then return my debited money.
Also the person who authorised this at the company should be investigated. this is TOTALY un-ethical and i am just speechless at their customer care.
