This is not the first time this has happened. I phone the absa general call centre with to find out about the balance left on my student loan. I expected them to transfer me to the right call centre that deals with it as i do not know the number. Turns out i was just transferred back to the general call centre again. I explained once more what i wanted to do and was given a number to call. I did this and was told im at the wrong place and was given an 012 number. Phoned that number and the lady immediately told me again i am at the wrong place. It is at this stage that i dropped the call. I understand why people move other banks, cause going to a branch is the same headache.
