I am a client of Santam for several years WITH a no claim history. Somebody bumped into me in a PnP store and my key fell into pieces. Luckily I could drive home with my spare key which I always have with me as well. The next morning we realized that the motherboard of the key is not with the parts. I immediately went to PnP, this motherboard was not handed in and we seek underneath the shelves, nothing. Indirect I've "lost" my key (the key is nothing without the motherboard). Can you believe, I was total honest about everything, I am a policyowner for severel years now with a no claim history, and they don't want to pay the claim of R1878 (actually R1600 more or less - I still have to pay R250!)? What's the use to have short term insurance and to be honest and loyal?
