We want to settle our Blue Bean credit card account, but get no response from Standard Bank.
On 23 April we telephonically contacted the bank and after being passed from pillar to post, we were told to send an email request for the settlement value. On 24 April, we emailed again, still no response. We went so far as to put a complaint on Standard Bank website, still no response.
On 9 May, we eventually called again and were told to send a mail to another address and the previous two I had sent. This would apparently "escalate" our request. 15 May and we still have had no response. As usual it is staff in a call centre, whom have no respect or interest in their customers. We still have not paid an amount for May and no doubt Standard Bank will be very quick to charge interest now, which we will not pay, as it is their incompetants
