Platinum One customer not getting services as one

I have been an ABSA platinum one customer for very long and with ABSA since I can remember.

Recently I wanted to obtain my wife's car registration papers for a car paid off that was financed by ABSA.

First of all, I was sent from pillar to post to get hold of my so-called personal relationship manager. Nobody knew if she was still with the bank. I got transferred back and forth from Menlyn Retail / Woodlands etc. Some said she resigned, others believed she was still there etc etc.

After a long while I was told that they would get my wife's car's papers and that it would take 2 weeks. I asked if it could be delivered to my home or office and was bluntly told that it is not done by ABSA and that I must collect. They said they would phone me. Well - to this day I am still waiting for the call. As far as I know all other banks would treat their so-called platinum customers better.

To this day I am still waiting for a call from my so-called relationship manager.

The bank has no identity, gives pathetic interest rates on savings accounts and delivers pathetic service.

Why stay with them?

I have already moved my business account and will now be moving my personal account as well.
