Interest added to Loan after being retrenched

I was retrenched last year and i notified the bank and went through the whole precess of sending them the forms etc...

I have not been paying the loan as i took insurance out on the loan which did actually pay out but only half of the loan amount, and now a few months later after finding a good job, i went onto my account to start depositing the funds into the loan and i found that since then, there have been charges added to the loan where they have added interest, insurance premium etc...
