On the 17th November, I ordered a Monsters' University duvet set from Groupon. The promotion included delivery within a two week period. This is a Christmas gift that was meant to travel with me to the Cape in mid December. Unfortunately, the item has yet to be delivered.
Calls to the Cape Town call centre, at my expense, have had mixed responses. On Monday a call centre agent promised it would be delivered by Friday while not long thereafter, I received an email from another agent saying that I needed to give them a week longer (this despite my informing them that I need the parcel by Friday as a result of my traveling). I have repeatedly told the agents that I need the parcel by Friday to no avail.
Groupon continues to blame their suppliers for the problem, however, it is Groupon who I paid and consequently, Groupon who needs to ensure delivery.
I have ordered two parcels from Groupon in the past - the first arrived late as well and this one has yet to be delivered. I find it unacceptable that a Christmas gift ordered in mid November cannot arrive by mid December.
