I first requested a refund of the credit in my Groupon account on the 15th April, as there was nothing I was interested in anymore, and after purchasing a few things, the establishments were never actually REAL, or you could not book/get through etc. I supplied my banking details (on numerous occasions) and have emailed for updates as well as phoned the call centre a number of times. I was told last week that I would receive confirmation of payment in my inbox that morning, and the funds would be released withing 3-5 days. I AM STILL WAITING for both the email as well as the funds!!
I have never come across such incompetance and a complete lack of client service! Groupon are very quick to take peoples' money, but and avoid you when you want it back! I can see that the credit has been removed from my Groupon account, yet I don't have it in my bank account.
I expect my refund to reflect in my bank account by the close of business tomorrow before I take this further and lay charges of.
