Pathetic & Uninformed staff!!

I was solicited by Cell C in 2011 by telephone and offered a contract - the details of the contract were R99pm for 24months and included 2 cellphone handsets. I accepted this offer.

The contract expired in January of 2013 and it was my assumption that the contract was done and dusted, needless to say I have been debited an amount of R204 every month since then!! As Cell C has taken it upon themselves to decide that I should continue this contract at whatever rate they feel fit to charge??

It states in section 14 of the consumer protection act - 'Suppliers are required to give notice of the imminent expiry date as well as material changes to the contract not more than 80 days and not less than 40 business days before the expiry of such a contract'

I demand proof of this been done as I have NEVER been contacted by Cell C, in fact I don't even receive statements unless I request them!

This simcard has NEVER used and I want a refund for all the debits gone off for Feb, March, April, May and June (as I believe there is another set to go off month end) - How can you charge me for services not rendered???
