Ridiculous bill for unexplained data usage

On 15th January I logged into the Vodacom website to check my data usage on my contract which I use on my iPad, only to find that it says that my bill so far is R130.11 on a contract that I am suppose to be paying R99 per month for 2GB cap, on further investigation I pulled a account report on my profile for the contract in question only to find that the invoice for January 2014 will be R1482.54 When I contacted Vodacom they said I reached my cap for December that is why there is an additional R30 out of bundle charge but could not explain why they are charging me for January R1482.54 in data usage. In the last 4 months my combined usage on my iPad is 8.5GB using wireless and mobile, so I would like to know where did they come out with this ridiculous bill for data usage. I have heard no feedback from Vodacom other than it will take more than 2 weeks to resolve which I find to be unacceptable. If I reached my cap there was no warning nor was there any notification from Vodacom that warns I would be billed for out of data usage. Last month the same happened to my wife which took over a month to resolve, I will not wait that long. I want a answer and fast!
