I called in to do a sim swap last night on my prepaid number and got terrible service. I told the consultant that ive booked my contact handset for repairs and it used a micro sim card. The Handset im currently using as backup does not support microsim therefore i need to use my prepaid number and ive lost that particular simcard. After going through a security check (5pt) i was advised that they do not do sim swaps after 17:00. This is just ridiculous, I told the consultant that im forced to do a sim swap because CellC Sandton could not provide me with a loan phone. I was advised that sim swap securities dept has left therefore i would have to call the next day. Sim swap Securities deals with contract sim swaps another pathetic excuse from cellc. I spoke to a team leader (Charlotte Khoza) and she was incompetent as her agent telling that simswaps are done before 17:00. If thats the case why did i go through a security check. The Team leader put the phone down on my ear. I called later on to try again and spoke to Sam Mncube from KZN she did the sim swap after i passed the security check. CellC your Reps are not singing the same song esp the ppl in JHB. Please listen to Calls.
