Contract handed ove

I was surprised when I went to a Wonderpark cellc store only to find out that the account which was paid up in 2012 is still owing and has been handed over to different legal team now, whereas I was paying through vvm attorneys at nedbank. My contact number then was 0845871275. When I call cellc I'm being told that I need to ask vvm to give me a letter showing that the account has been paid whereas the letter of cancellation and proof of payment was sent from wonderpark cellc.
