I was contacted by an agent of Elite Mobile on 20 July to get a Vodacom subsciption for R99.00 per month. I received the Nokia Asha 2055 on 05 August. I read all my legal rights and steps and that I have 14 days to cancell the deal or to proceed with it. I decided to cancell and phone Elite Mobile on the 12th August and spoke to Marilyn where I asked her to cancell the contract and all the products issued to me. She said that they will send a courier to come and pick up the phone. I didnt even put the simcard into the phone. On the 30th August ABSA notify me that Vodacom SA billed me R199.00. I phone Elite Mobile on Saturday, 31st August to ask when the courier is about to pickup the phone. The lady tells me the courier should have picked it up already. I ask her about the bill and she ask me to phone Vodacom on 0821950, which I did. All I want to know is why can I be billed by a service provider if Im not a subscriber and I dont have a cellnumber issued to me.
