For more than 10 years I have been a loyal Nashua Mobile Client. I have also insured all my handsets through Nashua Mobile, only to find out that I am apparently under insured. I was recently robbed of my Cell Phone at Gun Point and when claiming from Nashua Mobile I was informed that I would have to pay in -R2000 (R1500 to cover the under insured amount and R500 excess). Nashua Mobile provided my Handset and the insurance for the handset knowing full well what the value of the phone was. I was never informed that I was under insured and received no financial advice from them as an insurance provider. One would assume that the party supplying an Item would know the value of an item and insure that their client is fully insured, if not, surely they should advise the client of this. I find this unacceptable!
