Edgars is well known for the fact that their account holders only start paying interest on credit purchases after 6 months. With this in mind, I applied for an account. Only after I have opened the account I found that this policy is no longer applicable, and I will be paying interest after 1 month, just like most other clothing stores. And I did not find this information on Edgars site, but on another site, reviewing the Thank U account. I am so disappointed, and I feel misleaded. This makes the Edgars account just like every other account. This should be CLEARLY stated if one opens an account at Edgars. In my opinion, the 6 month interest free period was what separated Edgars from other stores. I'll be closing my account as soon as possible and avoid shopping at Edgars.
