We bought and took delivery of cast aluminium dining set from Patio Warehouse, Centurion on 29 Feb 2012. On 05 April 2013 one of the chair's armrest snapped whilst someone sat in the chair.
I contacted Patio Warehouse, Centurion via email at 07h28 on 09 April 2013 and requested that they contact their supplier in order to determine me if this chair can be replaced under warranty or another agreement acceptable to both parties. Within 10 minutes the Assistant Branch Manager, Nico Basson, informed me that the issue has been forwarded to their stores, who will contact me to organise the replacement.
Norman, from their logistics department contacted us on 11 April 2013 in order to arrange a time when they can deliver the new chair at our house.
If only 50% of South African companies operated at this level of client service, we would have lived in a 100% different world!!
