The problem started in mid 2012 when my account was presumably supposed to an end, instead of the balance owing going down, it instead went up and i was advised that it was due to me making payment on certain on dates that are after their bill run.
I was fed up with this and on the 15th of August 2012 i decided to go into one of their stores (Atteridgeville Branch) to quote me the final settlement amount. I was advised that the amount was R 970, 66 and without any further delays, i paid the amount right then. They gave me a receipt that showed balance as R0 .00. I dont know if i was wrong but this according to me, this meant Lewis and I had no sort of business.
To my surprise, in late 2012/early 2013 i started receiving calls from Lewis telling me that there is an amount outstanding and when i asked the agent (Vivian) to explain to me how the amount came about, she failed to do so and asked that i give her time to investigate and come back to me.
I've since never heard from her and today (2013/02/19) i received an sms from Lewis threatening legal actions against me due to the arrears.
Can Lewis please get their acts together and let me mention i'll never purchase
