My husband purchased a white gold engagement ring in March 2013 which started turning gold which i was aware of because the sales person at the store warned my husband that it would do that if i constantly worked in water with my ring on (which i find unrealistic that you need to take the ring off each time you clean) anyway, for the wedding we went back to the store and saw a silver and diamond ring thinking that it wouldn't turn gold like the white gold ring and the sales person at the store agreed with and actually advised us to take the ring we wanted saying that the silver wont change colour as fast as white gold!
that was in December we are not even 2 months married and the silver ring i have is a yellow/orange ugly colour which i now refuse to wear, i would like someone to advise me on the life span of a silver ring??
why was i to about the silver ring? just to make a sale on that day. and after this experience i doubt i will purchase from sterns in a hurry! bad quality goods!
