Foschini Limit Increased without my authorisation

Last month I discovered that my Foschini Account Limit was increased without my authorisation; no phonecall, no email nor any sms sent to me to notify me of the increase and to ask for my permission to do so. How can this be done when they don't know whether or not you cannot afford it.
