Purchasing of Wine

I arrived at Spar at 17:45 to purchase a bottle of wine, once i had chosen my wine, i proceeded to do some grocery shopping, it was a busy evening and i had to queue for a till for 10/15 min (the queue stretched all the way up past the drinks fridges.) once i arrived at a teller- she informed me that i was unable to buy the wine (as it was now after 6) i was extremely frustrated at the fact that the product is available on the shelves- and once you arrive at the till you are unable to purchase it. There were no signs to inform you of the fact that if you are waiting in the queue and you arrive at a till after 6 you would not be able to purchase the wine. I thought it was unfair of them not to sell me the wine- as it was 18:15 and I had been waiting in the queue for about 15min!!

The manager was completely short/rude/blunt/ not understanding at all and referred to me standing in the queue as 'not her problem'

shocking service from a company that wants to 'make you smile'
