Good day

On the 26th of November 2013 i took through a PT Cruiser Chrysler for a new engine fitting at Tonmax Euro address 680 Pretoria Road Wynberg Johannesburg.

I needed a new engine as mine was not in good condition, they advised me to purchase one through them for R12 000 (Twelve thousand Rands), i paid a deposit of R10 000 (Ten Thousand Rands) to the company and had a balance of R2000 and R2500 for labour.
The engine was bought and fitted but the car wouldn't turn on because the computer box didn't recognise the engine so they said, they tried getting ammeature technicians to solve the problem but failed. they then decided to approach Chrysler and were advised that the engine they bought was wrong and that they need to buy the one that matches the car specifically which would come at an extra cost amounting to R18 500 (Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Rands).

They only told me this 2 months after i had taken the car to them, made it clear how frustrated i am about all the delay and inconvenience they brought to me.
