I am very dissapointed the way that Lipco has handled my case in Jan/Feb of this year. Anyway I let that one slip and followed instruction from the mediator/Consultant and ended up resolving the issue myself.
Recently one of my Member on my policy is asking for a divorce, and I am currently on the R105 PM option, which covers contested divorces up to a R10 000 cover. But the Consultant who handled this case/File said because she has had problems since last year with her husband therefore she would not be covered under the policy. The member has never filled for a divorce last year, this was the first time. Basically the consultant said she would get her a lawyer from Randburg who would assist her at her own cost. She is still waiting for her to provide the details of the Randburg lawyer. HOW CAN SHE NOT BE COVERED? ALL SHE KEPT SAYING IS SHE IS NOT COVERED.
ALL MARIAGES HAVE PROBLEMS, AND THIS PROBLEMS ARE THE CONTINUES REASON FOR FUTURE DIVORCES, HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU NOT COVERED BECAUSE YOUR HUSBAND HAS DONE THIS BEFORE YOU JOINED LIPCO, THEREFORE YOU NOT COVERED.
I have just recommended two of my colleques to Lipco, and I AM REGRETING THIS DECISION.
