Life Healthcare
Incorrect code use for billing

My husband underwent a dental procedure during September 2012 at Eugene Marais Hospital. A wrong code was captured by the hospital when the claim was submitted and the claim was rejected. The hospital send me a letter of demand for outstanding account. It was then discovered that claim was rejected due to incorrect code used. The claim was resend. In February 2013 I received another letter of demand. Claim was not processed correctly. yet again the code issue came up. Both the hospital and Discovery said they will rectify it. I received a statement from Discovery with rectification. On 08 May 2013 I receive another letter of demand from Eugene Marais Hospital. Today Eugene Marais Hospital said that the claim was only partially corrected and they struggle with Discovery to rectify the claim on their side. It is now 6 months that this saga goes on. It is an elementary claim which could be solved in a day or two. Could you kindly intervene in order for this claim to be sorted out.
