Samsung Galaxy S4 battery swollen

Got phone new in July 2013, noticed battery life issues right away, now battery is swollen and not holding any charge and causing errors. noticed battery is physically swollen. took phone back to vodacom and they want to take entire phone with battery to repair or replace and then wipe phone. not an option so had to buy new battery. now i find out this swollen battery is a common problem that Samsung are aware of and they offer to replace battery. problem is i already have a new battery and there is no way of getting any contact with Samsung. website no reply, phone calls no reply. i want the swollen battery replaced and ill use as extra battery. Samsung needs to get back to me and replace battery. then i will turn frown upside down. the phone is great but the fact that there is no way to contact Samsung that yields a result is wrong. also they are aware of this issue and still do not pull that batch from market. i want a new battery or my money back. you choose Samsung.
