I called the College of Education to find out about my registration for a PGCE with Unisa in Pretoria. The lady who answered my call had no answers to questions that I asked her. I have applied for admission with Unisa on time, sent all the required documents on time. I went on to the Florida branch to register and I was asked for documents again, of which I provided. To my surprise there has never been any form of communication from the Department to me, furthermore I paid the registration fee on time and there was no acknowledgement of receipt for the funds paid to Unisa. As I stand today, the telephone attendants at the college of Education cannot give me any explanation on what's going on and they cannot transfer me to their supervisor because the supervisor has no telephone. Assignments for the 1st semester are due in a not so distant time, but still there is no conformation of registration from Unisa or any form of communication from the college of Education. I am very disappointed by level of professionalism at the Education Department as well as the rude telephone attendants who hung up the telephone on me!
