In January 2013, I approached the UNISA Durban Campus to query the procedure of changing my examination venue for Semester 2 2013 from Pietermaritzburg, SA to London, UK. I was advised by the helpful staff at the Help desk that I would be fine with writing my Semester 1 exams in Pietermaritzburg and then when registering for my Semester 2 modules in June 2013 I must ensure I change my exam venue for Oct/Nov 2013 exams to London before 31 August 2013 and that I wont have a problem with such exchange, provided I pay for the modules inclusive of the foreign levy fee. On the basis of the above information provided to me directly from UNISA Staff, I had made my arrangements and organized to write my examinations in London for OCT/NOV 2013. Im now in the UK and there is no possibility of my return to South africa before November 2013. Im not pleased of the fact that having gone now and registered for Semester 2 to receive an email from Exam Division at UNISA now stating :'Unfortunately, due to logistical reasons, no change to your current examination venue can be considered at this late stage. Your attention is drawn to the closing date (s) for applications for examination venue changes'
