In August 2008 we went "solar" and what a difference with our electricity consumption. Unfortunately, two years ago, one of the solar geysers started producing brownish hot water. This was reported to Solar Beam and the tank was immediately replaced without a quibble. Over this last weekend during the heavy rain, the other solar geyser sprang a leak. This was reported to Solar Beam who investigated and promptly replaced the tank. On both occasions the techinical crew who responded were extremely friendly, professional and efficient. I don't think that this company is the cheapest in the market but my goodness, their backup is superb and well worth the comfort of knowing that the 5 year guarantee is 100% reliable.
