We contracted the services of Johan Kriel in February 2012 having seen his advert as a draughtsman. We paid the deposit of 50 % (R4500) upfront where the remainder (R4500) was paid after signing the final copy but before submitting to the municipality. These were the terms of his contract. We have been chasing this man since then for the final approved set of plans. With no success I requested a lawyer friend of mine round about November 2012 to follow-up with him and the Tshwane municipality. To my surprise no plans had been lodged with the municipality. My lawyer friend managed to pursued him by threatening to sue and he then lodged with the municipality in January 2013 whereby he was given the indication that the plan will take about a month to be approved. (His last email hereby attached below). He has been evasive and now he is no longer answering his phone. The municipality has raised 2 issues with the plans that he needs to go and rectify and we cannot reach him.
