I want to warn people against Anton Berg (aka AJ, Marnus, De Waal).. He is currently trading under the company name The Pool Builder, but according to our ongoing investigation he also uses the following names: Berg Paving & Pool, Tovani Trading, Topaz, Countrywide Pools, Creative Pool Builders etc. He quotes you for a swimming pool, starts digging the hole, then asks for extra money for rubble removal, bigger pumps, hiring of drilling machines etc etc. All in all we paid him an amount of R15 000 when he stopped pitching, he changes phone numbers every 2nd day, eventually we got hold of him through his girlfriend, he had 1000 excuses (being highjacked, in hospital, family problems etc). He picks up people from the street to dig the hole, then he doesn't pay them, I had 10 people outside my gate wanting their money from me, I had one guy hiding inside my pool (hole..), police chasing after him. We gave him a deadline to pay back half of the money by 1 March, which obviously didn't happen so we are going ahead with a lawsuit.
