Late Delivery of overnight deliveries

In Last year I arranged for a package to be picked up in the morning from Cape Town to be delivered next day by 10:30. It was something our CEO needed for a meeting the next day at 11:30. That evening at 5 when I phoned to follow up, I was told that they will collect the next day. After a fight they sent someone to collect at my house after hours. The next day I phoned my CEO to ask about the meeting and he told me the package did not arrive. It only arrived the day thereafter, but still we were billed for overnight courier.
This week on Wednesday I had a parcel sent from JHB to PE overnight that was important to be delivered Thursday. Thursday afternoon I phoned cause the package has not yet been delivered and was told that it will only be delivered on Friday. Again overnight express turned in to tree days. I have a customer on my neck who is losing money because of a late delivery and Skynet who charge for overnight express but does not deliver. They should be honest with there customers when collecting the parcels so we can make other arrangements.
