Credit Limit Increase/Decrease Nightmare

On the 08/01/2013 the following request to the Credit Card Department. "I would like the credit limit on my credit card reduced. I have used /- R19 000 previously and my credit was increased by R60 000 recently. Please reduce this to R20 000." I had totally miscommunicated my intention regarding the limit decrease. The entire R60k that was increased a short while back was placed on straight. When queried I would told I couldn't put any of these funds on budget?? Anyway my intention was to reduce the R60 000 to R20k leaving my credit at R40K. My entire credit was reduced to R20 000. To make matters worse I transferred just over R8 000 into my credit card days before this was actioned. These funds are now gone. You can imagine my surprise. When querying this with FNB their whole attitude was nonchalant an uncaring and I was told to go through the limit increase request again and that I had no other choice as there is nothing they could do to help me whatsoever? Are your systems that outdated that you cannot roll back a minor change to an account? Apparently this was escalated when queried with no joy! How can we help you? Well let's start with some actual client service!!!
