Debiting my account without my permission

I went onto my FNB online banking account and noticed a 2 debit amounts of R103 and R30 with the reference VAP INS and an account number.

I never called a VAP insurance nor did i ever give anyone permission to debit my account. On querying this with the call centre i was presented with a attitude that they would only debit my account on me accepting a policy with them.

Well why the would i be querying it if i had in fact taken a policy out... don't you think that is something i would remember.

Needless to say their system was conveniently offline and my contact details were taken down including my ID number, phone number and debit amounts including policy number.

They would call me back. Lets see if it evens happens.

I have since cancelled the debit order with my bank and reversed the debit amounts.
